The Kootenai County Dems Club is the Social, Educational and Support arm of the Kootenai Democrats. We are a group of diverse people who share the same ideals of America. We strive for justice, inclusion, human rights and environmental concerns. We strive for a better future for Idaho and the country.
This week at the Club meeting
This Friday, 11/3, noon, the Dems Club meets online to elect our officers. A slate will be presented to be voted on as well as accepting nominations from the floor.
The importance of this election can not be overstated. Democrats in Kootenai County must grow our base by attracting many younger voters. If you were unable to attend the Thursday, 10/26 event at Capones Ponderosa Springs location, you missed six Democratic State Legislators speaking honestly on where we are as a political party. The message I took from this luncheon was “get fired up” or get left behind. Good Dem Club officers can raise our profile and attract more diverse voters. Be there this Friday to help us grow.
